Providing day to day support to the Logistics Manager with logistics tasks and procurement.
List of main activities
Procurement
Update price lists and vendor databases.
Check that the purchasing documents are complete and archived in keeping with Solidarités International procedures, with ensuring that all related documents are well uploaded in LINK.
Receive, review and analyze all supplies requests and PLs to ensure they contain clear information and have the required specifications ensuring they are technically complete and in conformity with established practice.
Ensure that all goods and services purchased are done according to the request and according to SI operational guidelines, ensure that approval rules and procedures are observed.
Negotiate prices, deadlines and methods of delivery.Ensure that the purchased files are assessed at the end of delivery for services/goods/works.
Management of equipment:
Update and follow up on the park statement and the physical inventory.
Contact and collect info about the regular maintenance and needs, communicate with HR and Amman Logistics departments about the needs for the newcomers.
Supervising the maintenance and follow up of SI's premises and infrastructures.Following up the consumption of office material
Ensure the proper utility and good shape of the facilities: liaise with the owner/caretaker of the premises if there is issues.
Checking that installations and buildings conform to security norms (closures and doorways in a good state, , buildings identified, fire extinguishers present, etc.)Qualifications:
Maximum 1 year of experience as a logistics officer/ procurement assistant, or in supply chain entry level roles.
OR a fresh graduate with a diploma in business administration or finance, with completed courses or training in supply chain or logistics.
Previous experience with INGOs is a plus.Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills.
Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
Excellent Communication and Analytical skills.
Excellent Planning, Organization and Reporting Skills.
Excellent in computer and Microsoft office.
