Job Title: Senior Partnerships Manager

Deel is seeking a highly skilled Senior Partnerships Manager to join our team in Syria. As a key member of our Partnership Department, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong partnerships with local and national civil society organizations, government entities, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partnership Management: Oversee the entire partnership lifecycle, from stakeholder analysis and partner identification to project development, agreement, start-up, implementation, and close-out.
  • Strategic Partnership Development: Work with the program and grants teams to identify and pursue new funding opportunities for local and national civil society organizations, government entities, and other entities.
  • Capacity Strengthening: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the capacity of our partners in areas such as fraud awareness and prevention, conflict of interest, donor rules and regulations, and partnership management.
  • Human Resource Management: Directly supervise the Partnership Managers and guide their management of their reports, providing coaching, training, and mentoring to ensure the success of the team.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in International Development or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience managing a partnership or grants portfolio in a development or humanitarian context.
  • Skills: Proven track record of working effectively with national and local civil society organizations, significant experience managing a sub-award portfolio of at least $5m in value, and strong familiarity with IRC's core programming areas in Syria.
