About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Director to join our team at Deel. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the TechOps and Fintech Support teams, providing strategic guidance and leadership to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead and manage the TechOps and Fintech Support teams, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, fincrime, and payment operations teams to resolve complex customer issues and drive business growth.
  • Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into key initiatives and drive efficiency.
  • Metrics Analysis: Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks and drive business growth.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that the customer experience is efficient and effective for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Employee Management: Oversee employee hiring, training, development, assessments, management, leadership, and career path plans.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8+ years of combined expertise in People Leadership, Operations, Planning, Budgeting, Process Design, Process Re-engineering, Change Management, and Communications.
  • Work Style: Comfortable working autonomously with minimal guidance, supporting leadership and driving initiatives.
  • Leadership and Relationships: 4+ years of managerial experience, capable of both direct work contributions and managing a team, with proven capability in building relationships and fostering connections across various levels of the organization.
