Optimiza is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior IT Licenses Control Specialist to manage and oversee our software licensing processes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and optimizing software assets across the organization. Your expertise will be critical in managing software licenses effectively and minimizing legal risks associated with licensing violations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage software licenses throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Conduct regular audits of software usage to identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with IT, procurement, and other departments to track and maintain an accurate inventory of software assets.
  • Develop and implement best practices for software license management and compliance.
  • Provide training and support to staff regarding software licensing policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated with licensing trends, changes, and emerging technologies to advise on future software procurement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on license utilization, compliance metrics, and associated risks for management review.
  • Work closely with software vendors to negotiate licenses, renewals, and service agreements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT asset management, software licensing, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of software licensing agreements and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with asset management tools and software licensing management software.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications in software asset management (e.g., CM, SAM) are a plus.
