Optimiza is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Budget Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the IT budget, conducting financial analyses, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making within the organization. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the effective allocation and utilization of financial resources across IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and manage the IT budget to ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Conduct financial analyses and forecasting to support budgeting decisions and resource allocation for IT projects.
  • Collaborate with IT management and stakeholders to gather budgetary requirements and provide financial insights.
  • Track expenditures, identify variances, and prepare regular reports on financial performances and trends.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies related to budgeting and expenditures.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the IT budget.
  • Prepare and present budget reviews and financial assessments to stakeholders as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT budgeting, financial analysis, or accounting roles.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting processes, financial modeling, and cost analysis techniques.
  • Proficient in financial software and tools, with expertise in Excel and financial forecasting applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey financial information effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of IT operations and project management is a plus.
