About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to oversee our organization's technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outsourcing, networking, and cloud technology. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing IT department objectives that align with our business objectives while ensuring optimal system performance and security.

Key Responsibilities
Networking Infrastructure:

Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks.

Ensure network security and performance through regular monitoring and troubleshooting.

Manage network access controls and implement security best practices.

Cloud Technology:

Evaluate and implement cloud-based solutions to optimize IT operations and reduce costs.

A good working knowledge of Google Workspace administration.

Working with outsourced partners to manage cloud-based resources and ensure compliance with security standards.

Outsourcing Management:

Develop and manage outsourcing relationships with external IT service providers.

Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness and quality of service.

Oversee the performance and delivery of outsourced services.

IT Strategy:

Develop and implement IT strategies that support the organization's business goals.

Conduct IT assessments and identify areas for improvement.

Constantly looking to improve and adopt new technology where relevant.

Plan and manage IT budgets.

Team Management:

Lead and manage a small team of IT professionals.

Recruit, train, and develop IT staff.

Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

Vendor Management:

Manage relationships with IT vendors and suppliers.

Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with vendor agreements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in IT management or a similar role.

Proven experience in outsourcing, networking, and cloud technology.

A good working knowledge of Google Workspace administration

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and network devices.

Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead and manage a team of IT professionals.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced certifications in IT management, networking, or cloud technology (e.g., ITIL, CCNA, Cloud Architecture).

Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Familiarity with data center operations and virtualization technologies.
