Senior Legal Specialist

The Senior Legal Specialist at Aumet. will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and supporting the companys contractual and corporate matters. This position requires expertise in corporate law, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and risk management to protect the companys legal interests and facilitate smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:1. Contract Management & Negotiation:- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor agreements, service agreements, partnerships, and NDAs.
- Ensure contractual terms align with company policies and mitigate legal risks.
- Provide legal analysis and recommendations for contract modifications and approvals.
- Ensure Aumets operations comply with local, regional, and international laws and industry regulations.
- Monitor and interpret new laws, regulations, and government policies affecting the companys operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal compliance policies and procedures.
- Support corporate governance matters, including board resolutions, legal filings, and maintaining corporate records.
- Identify potential legal risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
- Provide legal support on mergers, acquisitions, and company structuring when needed.
- Assist in handling legal disputes, arbitration, and litigation cases involving the company.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and support litigation strategies as needed.
- Respond to legal claims, investigations, and regulatory inquiries.
- Advise on intellectual property rights, trademarks, copyrights, and confidentiality agreements.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations in all business operations.
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments, including HR, finance, operations, and commercial teams.
- Conduct legal research and provide insights on key business and regulatory issues.
- Draft and review internal policies, procedures, and employee-related legal matters.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Law (LLB or LLM).
- 5+ years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a corporate or commercial environment.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with multinational companies or legal firms handling international legal matters is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic (preferred).
