Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, and usability testing to ensure software meets defined standards.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and collaborate with developers for timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of testing processes, including reporting on test results and communicating findings to stakeholders.
  • Participate in requirements reviews and provide feedback on functional specifications to ensure testability.
  • Support the implementation of quality assurance best practices and continuously seek to enhance testing methodologies.
  • Stay informed about new testing tools and technologies to drive improvements in quality control processes.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance or quality control roles.
  • Familiarity with software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong experience in manual testing processes across web and mobile applications.
  • Proficient in using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with automation testing tools is a plus.
