Job Description

The isolved Tax Department is looking for team members who enjoy payroll taxes, research, and resolution. As a Tax Support Specialist, you will act as a detective and problem-solver who digs into tax requirements to identify the root cause of cases. The Tax Support Specialist will be responsible for working with customers to help resolve payroll tax notices, complete amended tax returns and work directly with clients through CRM, email & phone. Our underlying goal is to reach the best possible outcome for our customers, while building relationships with key agents at various tax agencies.

Core Job Duties

Resolving in-depth payroll tax issues across various taxing agencies that include federal, state, and local agenciesPreparation of amended tax returns while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations are metReviewing and processing of adjustments for quarter-end and year-end tax processing to ensure accurate reportingAccurate and timely preparation and submission of payroll taxes and returnsActing as a client advocate for payroll tax filing mattersMaintaining the tax database while preserving data integrityCompleting EFT registrations as needed and mail, email, or fax to agencyUpdates to existing Client rate changes via SUI Rate ExchangeArticulating changes in tax compliance requirements to our Development TeamParticipating in streamlining future processes

Minimum Qualifications

Have a passion for technologyEmbrace constant change and welcome itPossess effective communication and negotiation skillsAre detail oriented with exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal capabilitiesCan demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based applicationsWork well under pressure and can meet strict deadlines
