Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing general accounting activities including journal entries, payables, fixed assets, inventory control, cost accounting, and reconciliations.

You will also be accountable for controlling and sustaining the accuracy and compliance of accounting records, ensuring coherence with group policies, processes, and procedures.

Additional responsibilities include controlling the Cash Closing Statement, ensuring that cash ledger balances match bank notes and checks physical count, analyzing inventory discrepancy reports, compiling and posting monthly journal entries, and reconciling bank accounts, suppliers, sub-ledgers accounts, accruals accounts, etc.

You will also maintain petty cash by paying expenses within company policies and procedures, handle payment preparation processes and documentations, match daily bank deposits with cash collected, manage data on Rentokil Boecker Systems, maintain data integrity on all systems, forms, and reports, and handle physical and electronic archiving.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of experience in accounting
  • Proficiency in English is a must; Arabic is a plus
  • Computer Knowledge: Microsoft Office, Basic Accounting Software
