DevOps Architect Position

This leadership role involves designing and implementing robust DevOps architectures to integrate development and operations processes seamlessly. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiencies, drive automation, and improve deployment pipelines across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive DevOps strategies that align with business objectives and facilitate rapid software delivery.
  • Lead the development of CI/CD pipelines and automation processes to enhance deployment efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
  • Architect cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to ensure scalability and performance.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging DevOps tools and technologies to strengthen our DevOps capabilities.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to establish best practices for continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Implement security practices and policies throughout the DevOps lifecycle to safeguard applications and data.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to DevOps engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, implementing solutions to address inefficiencies and bottlenecks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong emphasis on architectural design and implementation.
  • Proven expertise in building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
  • Strong background in cloud infrastructure architecture and management, specifically on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • In-depth knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly preferred.
