Job Role Overview

The Application Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations within the Organization. This individual is responsible for resolving end-user issues, analyzing business requirements, and producing technical specifications to drive application support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To understand the processes of the Organization from an application's perspective and resolve user queries efficiently.
  • To analyze and contribute to functional specifications provided by business users and produce technical specifications aligned with agreed standards.
  • To serve as a technical liaison between business groups and application support teams.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A Technical Degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years of technical/functional expertise in developing Microsoft Dynamics NAV &/OR Business Central is necessary.
  • Familiarity with core business processes such as accounting, distribution, or manufacturing is essential.
  • Experience with converting data from legacy systems into Dynamics NAV is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL 2014/2016, SSRS 2014/2016 is desirable.
  • Dynamics NAV Development, Install and Configuration certifications are advantageous.

Requirements and Specifications

  • Good understanding and experience with Hardware and hardware troubleshooting (Windows OS, MAC OS, Printers)

  • Basic understanding and experience TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.

  • Basic understanding and experience with LAN/WAN infrastructure and wireless networks.
