">Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of HVAC design engineers, providing guidance and ensuring project success
  • Develop and review detailed HVAC system designs for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings
  • Utilize advanced energy modeling and simulation tools to optimize HVAC system performance and energy efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, and electrical engineers
  • Ensure compliance with local and international building codes, standards, and regulations
  • Drive innovation in HVAC design, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices
  • Manage client relationships and communicate complex technical information to stakeholders
  • Oversee quality control processes and conduct design reviews to maintain high standards of excellence
  • Contribute to business development efforts by participating in proposal preparation and client presentations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required
  • LEED AP certification preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in HVAC system design, with a proven track record of successful large-scale projects
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams
  • Advanced proficiency in HVAC design software, including Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools
  • Expert knowledge of energy modeling and simulation software
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
  • Proficiency in project management software and methodologies
  • In-depth understanding of building codes, energy efficiency standards, and sustainability practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
