Job Brief
We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Supervisor with a strong background in Microsoft cloud products including office365, Azure and cloud services.
In this role, the Presales Supervisor will act as a trusted advisor to both the sales team and Umniah customers, providing expert guidance by conveying industry insights, technical expertise, product knowledge, and BoQ preparation. Through strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, they will support the sales team in cross-selling and up-selling Umniah's business products. Additionally, the Presales Supervisor will serve as a solution architect, customizing business solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud & Microsoft Solution Design: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design tailored cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure and Defender.
- Modern IT Infrastructure Architecture: Leverage broad experience in public, private, and hybrid environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, VMware) to build scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions.
- Cloud-Native & Container Technologies: Support digital transformation projects using container platforms like Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), Docker, and microservices-based architectures.
- BoQ Preparation & Solution Sizing: Develop accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and resource estimations for cloud licensing, subscriptions, and infrastructure components.
- Technical Presales Consultation: Act as a trusted advisor throughout the presales process, aligning customer needs with cloud-native and modern IT solutions.
- Sales Enablement & Opportunity Support: Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities, deliver compelling demos and presentations, and help achieve business targets.
- Proposal & RFP Response: Prepare technical proposals, solution overviews, and RFP/RFI responses that meet customer and industry requirements.
- DevOps & Automation Awareness: Apply understanding of DevOps practices and solution designs.
- Cross-Technology Integration: Design end-to-end solutions integrating Microsoft cloud with networking, cybersecurity, backup/DR, and identity systems.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective relationships with sales teams, customers, vendors (e.g., Microsoft, AWS), and partners throughout the presales lifecycle.
- Technology & Market Awareness: Stay updated on trends from cloud hyperscalers (Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud), IT modernization, and enterprise digital strategies.
- Documentation & Handover: Ensure well-documented designs and maintain organized project records to support smooth implementation handover.

Requirements
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering is preferred or any other related field.
Level of Experience: Intermediate Experience (5-8Yrs) in a related field

- Excellent knowledge of telecommunication industry, products, and services.
- Ability to create and present high-quality technical proposals and BoQs.
- Excellent knowledge of selling techniques: consultative selling, negotiation techniques, deal structuring, persuasion and deal closing, cross and up selling techniques.
- Excellent command of proposals writing and techniques.
- Excellent command of English language both writing and speaking.
