About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fresh Food Commercial Specialist to join our team at Talabat. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our grocery store concept, tMart, across the MENA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the FF Category Manager in collecting retail audits from competition and monitoring freshness and quality of tMart stores.
  • Visit the central market to decide on item selection and work on reports and admin-related duties.
  • Follow up with suppliers on listings, pricing, and product availability.
  • Perform other ad-hoc requests from the manager.
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of experience in progressive development and management of multiple fresh food categories in an international setting.
  • Fruits and Vegetable, cheese, and Cold Cuts Experience is a Plus.
  • Technical fresh food knowledge to provide accurate information to the manager.
  • Commercial knowledge, including profitability, margin calculations, feasibility, and benchmarking.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and able to prioritize tasks.
