Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reservations Agent to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for processing all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reservation Processing: Verify availability of room types and rates, and input data into our reservation system.
  • Guest Communication: Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers, and accommodate and document special requests.
  • Room Assignments: Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room types, and ensure that rooms are assigned correctly.
  • Customer Service: Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, and respond to their service needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, and support the team to reach common goals.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using reservation systems and other technical tools to manage reservations and guest data.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
