Job Summary

We are seeking a Strategic Investment Expert to join our Middle East, Central Asia, Türkiye, Pakistan, and Afghanistan (MCT) Team. The successful candidate will originate, manage, and monitor IFC's financial sector investments, contributing to the growth and development of our investment business.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders to identify business opportunities and engage effectively with syndicate lenders.
  • Work with clients to enhance IFC's value proposition and improve portfolio quality.
  • Supervise lessons learned gathering, trend analysis, and recommendation for business development and transaction structuring.
  • Contribute to cross-regional business development strategy formulation and implementation.
  • Collaborate across IFC, World Bank, and MIGA to support blended finance initiatives and maximize strategic partnerships.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field, with at least 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in business consulting or investment banking, with operational experience in the financial sector.
  • Capacity to understand market creation opportunities, lead negotiations, and build long-term client engagement.
  • Ability to articulate complex issues, approaches, and lessons to clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong written, presentation, and business-level communication skills in English.
