Job Description

">

The Director of Governance and Compliance will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of governance and compliance measures across all aspects of OCHA's operations. This includes developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and standards that promote accountability, transparency, and ethics within the organization.

Responsibilities

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

">
  • ">
  • Serving as a technical expert on compliance matters related to procurement, logistics, administration, and contracting">
  • Conducting compliance audits, quality reviews, and risk assessments to enhance accountability in procurement, logistics, administration, and contracting">
  • Developing and implementing training programs in the area of procurement, supply chain, fleet management, and compliance">
  • Providing strategic guidance to leadership and operational teams on compliance-related risks and best practices">
  • Overseeing performance indicators for CSSD performance and providing monthly performance monitoring reports">
">

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

The ideal candidate will possess:

">
  • ">
  • An advanced university degree in business administration, public administration, supply chain, law, or a related field">
  • A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible relevant experience in procurement, contract management, supply chain, administration in the public or private sector">
  • First-hand experience in audit, compliance, internal controls with a strong understanding and knowledge of procurement at an international level">
  • Experience in managing diverse teams and developing policy, key performance management indicators, and compliance monitoring or reporting">
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English">
