Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Claims Operations Technician to provide operational support within the Claims Department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to Senior Claims Management, monitoring claim response statistics, and analyzing line of business claims statistics, loss type trends, and geographic trends.

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly claims management reports to facilitate informed decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities

">

Manual claims processing is an essential aspect of this role. The successful candidate will process manual claims to XFI within agreed KPIs, reconcile ECF bureau messages on XFI, and prepare non-ECF payment memos.

  • Ensure quality control and preparation of payments to brokers and clients.

The Claims Operations Technician will also be responsible for peer review management, preparing the peer review process, managing metrics of the quantity and quality of peer review samples, and ensuring senior management actions and/or sign off.

  • Monitor class of business claim volumes, input and reconcile claim's bordereau within XFI, and perform monthly/quarterly claim month close process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This position requires academic qualifications, with successful completion being a must. 0-2 years of experience in a similar role is desirable, along with full training provided within the department.

The ideal candidate will possess numeracy and communication skills, general computer literacy, strong team player abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and attention to detail to maintain accuracy of data and file records.
