User Acquisition Sr. Specialist
Position Summary:
User acquisition helps our games to grow their user base by finding the most valuable target audiences. The craft relies heavily on data and changes rapidly; sometimes the learnings expire in a matter of months. This requires fast thinking, openness to venture out from comfort zone and reading into the smallest of indicators in the data. Close communication with multiple different teams is vital and makes the job interesting. Showing an ad in the right place at the right time to the right person sounds almost impossible, but the User Acquisition team makes it possible.
Responsibilities:
● Take part in defining the overall UA strategy for Tamatem games to maximize its growth profitably, month over month, year after year.
● Campaign management/analysis, including optimization and monitoring of campaigns, budget allocation, leading A/B tests and identifying new channels.
● Owning the relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. talking with partners on how to improve campaigns and gathering the latest insights, working together with game teams on aligning UA and product strategies, communicating UA performance with the game and product teams).
● Lead the creative ideation and strategy alongside marketing artists: you will get the chance to create and test our next top ads.
● Drive a relentless culture of experimentation on all key existing channels, while also ideating and establishing new UA funnels for the game you are in charge of.
● Assist, lead, and mentor junior UA team members.
● Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging advertising technologies. Leverage this knowledge to enhance our user acquisition efforts. You have:
● 4+ years of hands-on experience in user acquisition for mobile games or apps. Skills you will bring to us:
● Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage and optimize significant acquisition budgets with clear ROI targets.
● Experience in working with various digital marketing platforms, and up-to-date on privacy/attribution challenges in mobile marketing.
● Understanding of mobile marketing ad tech: marketing measurement tools, attribution providers, programmatic advertising, etc. ● Enjoy working with data, and has the ability to break complex problems into smaller ones.
● Fluency in spreadsheet software, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
● Proactivity, independence, and "get it done" mentality.
● A curious and diagnostic mindset.
● Ability to take full ownership of game's user acquisition operations and strategy.
● A genuine passion for games, particularly mobile games.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Nice to have:
● Advanced Excel knowledge
● SQL experience
● App Store Optimization experience
● Knowledge of ad monetization tech, tools, and systems
● A strong understanding of Arab mobile gamers preferences and behavior
