Optimiza is looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions that align with our clients' business strategies. You will leverage your extensive experience in cloud technologies to create scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures that drive operational efficiency and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud architectures that meet business requirements and operational needs while ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Lead the migration of existing applications and workloads to cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Evaluate and implement cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their features to optimize client solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices for cloud governance, security, and compliance.
  • Monitor cost management practices and optimize resource utilization in the cloud environment to maintain budgetary goals.
  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including diagrams, models, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, providing thought leadership and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and engineering teams on cloud best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (specifically AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and architectural best practices.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and orchestration methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices, along with experience in implementing secure cloud solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical situations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
