As a Marketing and SEO Assistant Intern at dubizzle, you will play a key role in supporting our marketing efforts by assisting with SEO optimization and content creation. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in digital marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and content writing, allowing you to develop valuable skills that will prepare you for a successful career in marketing.

Requirements

In This Role, You Will

  • Assist in conducting keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving organic search rankings and driving traffic to our website.
  • Support the development and implementation of SEO strategies to optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements under the guidance of our SEO specialist.
  • Learn and contribute to the creation of high-quality, engaging content for our website, blog, social media channels, and email campaigns. You will have the opportunity to learn content writing best practices through hands-on experience and guidance from our content team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative marketing campaigns and initiatives, leveraging your newfound skills in SEO and content writing.
  • Assist in monitoring website performance using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and provide insights and recommendations for improvement with support and mentorship from our analytics team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SEO and digital marketing, actively participating in training sessions and workshops organized by our marketing team.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed, including organizing meetings, maintaining marketing databases, and assisting with other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in digital marketing, SEO, and content writing, with a desire to learn and grow in these areas.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress and Strapi is a plus but not required.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to take on new challenges.
