Industrial Procurement Assistant

About the Role:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to a collaborative environment. As an Industrial Procurement Assistant, you will play a pivotal part in assisting with sourcing and evaluating suppliers and products.

Responsibilities include helping prepare purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining procurement records and databases. Effective communication with suppliers is crucial in obtaining quotes and following up on orders.

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills to ensure data accuracy and quality. Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and pivot tables, is essential for this role. Familiarity with data tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, capable of consolidating information from multiple sources into a centralized format. Strong communication skills are necessary for documenting findings clearly and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications include internship or coursework experience in sustainability, procurement, finance, or data analysis. Exposure to ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, is also desirable. Experience working in a corporate or project-based environment is a bonus.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (completed or in final year) in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Climate Studies, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, or Economics.
