
International Cooperation Officer

Optimiza is in search of a dynamic and experienced International Cooperation Officer to strengthen our collaborative initiatives with international partners. This role will involve working closely with government entities, non-governmental organizations, and international agencies to foster partnerships that align with our mission and enhance our project capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with international stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and coordination on joint initiatives.
- Identify funding opportunities and assist in the preparation of proposals for international cooperation projects.
- Coordinate the implementation of international projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with donor requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of international partnerships and report on outcomes and impacts.
- Conduct research on best practices in international cooperation and recommend strategies for enhancing collaboration.
- Organize and participate in international conferences, workshops, and meetings to promote the organization's initiatives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefs for senior management and stakeholders on international cooperation activities.
- Monitor regional and international developments in the sector and contribute to the exchange of expertise to ensure alignment with the Client's strategies.
- Contribute to the preparation and review of memorandums of understanding, agreements, and strategic partnerships, and conduct feasibility studies for initiatives and projects.
- Prepare studies and research on collaboration opportunities with countries and organizations, and provide appropriate recommendations based on strategic objectives.
- Coordinate with relevant entities to follow up on the implementation of international agreements and the Kingdom's commitments, and submit periodic reports regarding them.
- Participate in international meetings and conferences in coordination with the concerned authorities to represent the Client's interests.
- Contribute to implementing the department's plans, monitor international correspondence, and develop work methods to achieve goals efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Political Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Up to 6 years of experience in international cooperation, development projects, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of international development frameworks and donor funding mechanisms.
- Proven ability to manage projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel internationally as necessary for project implementation and partnership development.
