Optimiza is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that all purchasing activities are conducted efficiently, ethically, and in accordance with organizational policies. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills and a thorough understanding of procurement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services as per organizational needs.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives, including cost control and supplier management.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and performance.
  • Prepare and issue procurement documents such as requests for proposals (RFPs), invitations to bid, and contracts.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and suppliers, and prepare regular reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and negotiation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship management.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure procurement accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management are a plus.
