ERP Technical Specialist Job Description

Aramex is seeking a highly skilled ERP Technical Specialist to join our team. As an ERP Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for our ERP system, including resolving user issues and troubleshooting technical problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ERP System Support: Provide timely and effective support for our ERP system, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Data Management: Manage and maintain data within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Configuration and Integration: Assist in configuring the ERP system to meet our specific needs and requirements, and collaborate with other IT teams to integrate the system with other software applications, databases, and systems.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures within the ERP system to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and processes to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing within the organization.
  • Technical Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical issues, errors, and bugs in the ERP system, often in collaboration with the vendor's technical support.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Act as a point of contact between the organization and the ERP vendor, communicating issues, requirements, and collaborating on solutions.
  • User Access Management: Manage user access rights and permissions within the ERP system and related software applications, as per internal system access policies.
Requirements:
  • ERP Experience: Familiarity with ERP systems is highly desirable, with specific experience with SAP being a significant advantage.
  • Technical Skills: High-level knowledge in relevant programming languages, databases, IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration.
  • Data Analysis and Migration: Experience with data analysis, data cleansing, and data migration in the context of ERP systems.
  • End-User Support and Training: Demonstrated experience in providing end-user support and training, creating user manuals, and conducting training sessions.
  • Education: B.A. Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields, Logistics Sciences, or related fields.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
