Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Monitoring professional to lead the design, implementation, and management of monitoring and evaluation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive monitoring plans for various projects in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Design data collection methods and tools to ensure high-quality, relevant, and timely data is gathered.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to provide actionable insights and recommendations based on findings.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing evaluation results, including lessons learned and best practices.
  • Facilitate training and capacity building for staff in monitoring and evaluation processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to incorporate feedback and improve project design based on evaluation outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in monitoring and evaluation to enhance the organization's capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in non-profit or development sectors.
  • Proven expertise in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in using monitoring and evaluation software tools and statistical packages.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently manage multiple projects.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development in monitoring and evaluation practices.
