Regional Health Safety and Security Officer

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare and take minutes of HSS meetings, ensuring accurate records of discussions and decisions.
* Collaborate with the HSS team to organize events, workshops, and seminars, including first aid training and other assigned activities.
* Conduct security assessments for newly identified apartments, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
* Maintain the HSS training stock inventory, ensuring all necessary materials are up-to-date and readily available.
* Develop and submit procurement requests for necessary items, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with HSS department requirements.
* Conduct security briefings and inductions for new staff and visitors, providing essential information on safety protocols and procedures.
* Work with regional security advisors to draft and distribute relevant security advisories, keeping the team informed of potential threats and risks.
* Support the context monitoring process, providing critical information on security developments and trends.
* Contribute to the development of relevant security plans for the MENA Regional Office premises, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
* Collaborate with the admin team to ensure NRC infrastructure is compliant with HSS standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
* Maintain HSS share point pages and trackers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to the team.

**Requirements:**

* Strong understanding of health and safety principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
