Regional Health Safety and Security Officer

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare and take minutes of HSS meetings, ensuring accurate records of discussions and decisions.

* Support the organization of HSS and Access-related events, including workshops and seminars, to enhance staff knowledge and skills.

* Conduct security assessments for newly identified apartments, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.

* Maintain the HSS training stock inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are up-to-date and readily available.

* Raise procurement requests for necessary items, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with NRC infrastructure standards.

* Conduct security briefings and inductions for new staff and visitors, providing essential information on safety protocols and procedures.

* Collaborate with regional security advisors to draft and distribute relevant security advisories, keeping staff informed of potential risks and threats.

* Support context monitoring, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

* Contribute to drafting relevant security plans for MENA Regional Office premises, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.

* Coordinate with the admin team to ensure NRC infrastructure meets compliance standards.

* Maintain HSS share point pages and trackers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is readily available.

**Requirements:**

* Strong understanding of health and safety principles and practices.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
