Job Description

The Quality Assurance Team Leader plays a pivotal role in guiding the QA team to ensure that products meet exceptional quality standards. This position involves overseeing system integration testing, mentoring team members, and ensuring that testing processes are executed effectively and continuously improved.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the QA team to guarantee timely and high-quality delivery of testing activities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing plans, integrating various testing approaches as required for Zain Cash Payment Services products.
  • Own and maintain the overall QA strategy, test environments, and documentation, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
  • Design and lead automation frameworks, providing guidance on test automation scripting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure that all software releases are thoroughly tested, meeting functional, performance, and security requirements.
  • Review and validate bugs reported by the team, collaborating with development and product teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Generate and review test plans, bug reports, test coverage documentation, and metrics, driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Promote continuous improvement in QA practices, tools, and processes, fostering a culture of excellence within the QA team.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to QA team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand product goals and proactively identify quality risks and gaps, ensuring proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage team resources to meet testing deadlines, maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment.
  • Represent QA interests in sprint planning and project meetings, advocating for quality excellence and efficient resource allocation.
