Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Manager oversees the quality assurance team, ensuring that services and products meet high standards. This involves assessing products, developing test plans, and implementing quality control measures.

  • Lead a team of quality assurance specialists in conducting audits and assessments to ensure product quality.
  • Develop and implement quality standards, frameworks, and templates to guide the quality assurance process.
  • Identify areas for business improvement and develop plans to address these issues.
  • Represent the company in internal and external communications regarding quality assurance matters.
  • Coordinate with various departments, including QC, development, and business groups, to complete testing and ensure product quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or information technology, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Professional certification, such as ISTQB-CTFL ISTQB-CTAL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify bugs and solve errors.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively, build positive relationships, and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of testing phases and approaches, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with other groups and ensure products are free of errors.
  • Ability to multi-task, triage issues, react well to changes, and work independently or in a team setting in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
