Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Cluster Manager to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Analysis and Portfolio Prioritization: Provide business insight and analysis to identify, prioritize, and execute against key programs to deliver the CLS Strategic Plan, network and transportation optimization, brand protection, process harmonization, and technology.
  • Sales and Promotion Planning: Plan and execute sales and promotion activities, including product and price planning, to drive revenue growth.
  • Customer Training and Development: Provide product and performance training to customers to enhance their experience and drive sales.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of highly motivated and attentive sales consultants to achieve sales targets.
  • Commercial Acumen and Competitor Analysis: Use commercial acumen and competitor analysis to drive sales and traffic, and provide thought leadership on how to adapt and operationalize projects and programs using local insights.
  • Customer Service and Experience: Deliver and educate the team on providing exceptional customer service to drive customer loyalty and retention.
  • Marketing Program Execution: Lead the execution of key components of marketing programs to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Budget Management and Contingency Planning: Provide proactive budget management and contingency planning to ensure delivery of agreed business plan spending targets.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Direct regional financial planning, reporting, and analysis, including strategic planning, business planning, updates, and ad-hoc reporting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in sales and marketing, with experience in project analysis and portfolio prioritization, sales and promotion planning, customer training and development, team management, commercial acumen and competitor analysis, customer service and experience, marketing program execution, budget management and contingency planning, and financial planning and analysis.

You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
