Job Title: Programme Analyst Governance and Human Rights

UNDP Careers is seeking a highly skilled Programme Analyst Governance and Human Rights to join our team. As a Programme Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of programmes that promote good governance and human rights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the design and implementation of programmes that promote good governance and human rights;
  • Conduct research and analysis on governance and human rights issues;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, civil society organizations, and the private sector;
  • Provide technical assistance and capacity-building support to programme partners;
  • Monitor and evaluate programme progress and impact.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Political Science, Law, Human Rights, International Relations, Conflict Studies, or related field;
  • At least two years of paid working experience as an analyst, researcher, or delivering legal, technical, analytical, or advisory services in governmental or non-governmental organizations;
  • Experience on the ground implementing projects in the Global South, ideally within the RBAS region is desirable;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Korean;
  • Arabic or French language proficiency highly desirable.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in developing projects and programmes;
  • Experience managing research projects or developing knowledge products;
  • Experience organizing and coordinating large meetings and events (online and offline).
Language Requirements:

Fluency in written and spoken English and Korean. Arabic or French language proficiency highly desirable.

Age Requirement:

Not older than 32 years of age as of 31 December, 2024.

Military Service:

Male applicants shall have completed the Korean military service or be exempted from it.
