Job Summary

The Programme Analyst Governance and Human Rights will be responsible for providing technical support to the programme team in the development, implementation, and monitoring of governance and human rights programmes. The incumbent will work closely with the programme team to identify programme needs, develop programme strategies, and implement programme activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to the programme team in the development, implementation, and monitoring of governance and human rights programmes.
  • Work closely with the programme team to identify programme needs, develop programme strategies, and implement programme activities.
  • Conduct research and analysis on governance and human rights issues to inform programme development and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, civil society organizations, and other development partners.
  • Provide technical assistance to programme staff on governance and human rights issues.
  • Contribute to the development of programme reports and other documentation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as political science, law, human rights, or international relations.
  • At least two years of experience in programme management, governance, and human rights.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Korean.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in programme management, governance, and human rights.
  • Knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the ability to apply them to programme development and implementation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
