Housekeeping Coordinator Job Description

The Housekeeping Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's housekeeping department. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively coordinate back-end operations, communicate with relevant departments, and provide exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Coordination: Coordinate daily housekeeping operations, collaborate with Front Office and Guest Relation Teams, and ensure seamless communication with relevant departments.
  • Cost Management: Take responsibility for cost management to meet operational profitability, ensuring that all expenses are accurately tracked and reported.
  • Administrative Support: Organize and implement administrative systems and procedures, perform necessary support duties, and maintain accurate records.
  • Guest Service: Attend to guest requests, provide exceptional service, and ensure that all guest needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a complete and updated inventory of linen and housekeeping supplies, and order supplies as needed in coordination with management.
  • Reporting: Generate various operational reports for the coordination of the Housekeeping department, providing management with accurate and timely information.
