We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist intern to join our team. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to develop their skills in Machine Learning (ML) and contribute to driving business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement ML models that align with business objectives, backed by clear metrics for progress tracking.
  • Conduct research and implement suitable ML algorithms and tools to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Select and optimize datasets and data representation methods to maximize value.
  • Design and implement data preprocessing and feature engineering strategies to enhance model performance.
  • Create data augmentation pipelines to expand dataset capabilities.
  • Analyze test results and fine-tune models using statistical analysis.
  • Train and retrain systems as needed to maintain optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • In-depth understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • Proficiency in necessary concepts such as calculus, linear algebra, probability & statistics, algorithms, and software development.
  • Ability to write robust code in Python, with C# and C++ being a plus.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, and libraries such as scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas, and OpenCV.
  • Knowledge in imaging processing and computer vision algorithms.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Linux.
