Managed Services and Data Center Manager
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate candidate to be part of Zain's Enterprise Business department to be responsible for managing the design, implementation, maintenance, and service delivery of all managed services and data center services, as well as managing all network of managed locations and data centers colocation service.

These services include WiFi, networking, UC, CCTV, IPTV, and Colocation services. The role entails managing the existing service platforms to guarantee continuous functionality, streamlined processes, and effective operation.

Furthermore, managing Zain’s business managed locations such as airports, malls, and corporate or residential locations to ensure efficient design, installation of services, maintenance, and operation. It was mandating strict adherence to all KPIs related to uptime.

Additionally, to be responsible for the design and development of current and new data center locations coupled with the oversight, monitoring, and day-to-day Operation of these facilities.

Main Responsibilities, will include but will not be limited to:
  • Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of IT service management methods and procedures
  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for applications development staff. Assign work activities, projects, and programs. Review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures. Meet with staff to identify and resolve problems
  • Design and implement services related to; WiFi, networking, UC, CCTV, Security and colocation services
  • Evaluate and respond to the customers’ Requests for Proposals (RFP) Negotiate and manage customers’ contracts for managed services
  • Overall responsibility for establishing, managing, and maintaining strategic relationships with customers. Regularly interacts with functional groups within the Project organization to communicate and clarify customer requirements. Performs as liaison between enterprise and end-users, outside vendors, contractors, customers, and consultants to define and establish service and support requirements. Investigate and resolve customer relationship problems
  • Ensures project management process is in place, provides resource management and ensures quality and timely solutions. Needed knowledge includes process and data modeling, data architectural development methodology, IT planning methodology, and project management
  • Develops risk management procedures, business continuance scenarios, contingency and disaster recovery plans for systems and networking infrastructure managed by the Special Projects Division to maintain operations during downtime and/or major disasters
  • Identifies and makes recommendations regarding critical points of failure. Develops and implements policies and procedures for business continuance and disaster recovery plans. Proactive in building processes to minimize/eliminate downtime
  • Ensures and monitors that processes are in place to pro-actively protect consistent service quality through rigorous management of change control and acceptance into service procedures. This includes managing the core business services such as; WiFi, UC, CCTV, IPTV, and colocation services.
  • Motivates, develops, and mentors other ITSM employees and managers
