Job Title: Finance Officer FSR # 608

Location: Amman

Job Summary

We are looking for a strong, qualified candidate to join our finance department to support the finance officers in IMC Jordan, mainly for preparing vouchers, processing cash/Bank payment, in accordance with our policies and procedures, follow up with the monthly scanning with our HQ and any other duties will be assigned to them.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities 


Maintain cash and bank transaction Journals.
Prepares bank and cash reconciliations.
Prepare payment vouchers and ensure their timely processing.
Ensure the timely updates of the cash & bank transactions journal in the accounting system.
Prepare accounts receivable (AR) and accounts Payable (AP) analysis and follow up on outstanding balances.
Ensure that procurement and logistics backups necessary for finance records are complete.
Prepare adjustment entries (GJs).
Assist in preparing National Staff Payroll and consultant payments, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations, including staff health insurance coverage issues, in coordination with the HR department.
Assist in the end-of-month closing process by ensuring all procedures are prepared timely, including intercompany entries, accruals, monthly allocations, pool account clearance, monthly amortization, etc.
Assist in the preparation of the monthly payroll analysis.
Train new finance assistants on the job when needed.
Provide assistance during field audit visits.
Process requests related to the test of transactions exercise processed by HQ.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Occasional coverage of Egypt operation.


Qualifications 


BA in Accounting or any related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
