In this role, you will be responsible for securing our cloud environment, designing and implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance within the cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cloud security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect cloud environments.
  • Monitor cloud platforms for security breaches, vulnerabilities, and compliance violations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate cloud security risks.
  • Design and implement security controls for cloud services including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS deployments.
  • Integrate security practices into the cloud development lifecycle and DevOps processes.
  • Coordinate with IT and development teams to ensure secure deployment and management of cloud infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with cloud security trends, threats, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and training to other teams on cloud security best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud security or information security roles.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, technologies, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, CSA STAR).
  • Experience with security tools for cloud environments (e.g., CASB, Cloud security posture management tools).
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Terraform) for enhancing security operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications such as CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or equivalent are a plus.
