Optimiza is in search of a Data Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and managing our data architecture strategy, ensuring the integrity, security, and accessibility of data across multiple platforms. You will leverage your expertise in data modeling, database design, and data integration to support organizational decision-making and enhance data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data architecture solutions that align with business needs and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and data governance standards are met.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate data storage and processing technologies, including cloud and on-premise solutions.
  • Champion data integration efforts, ensuring seamless data flow across systems and applications.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement best practices in data architecture.
  • Lead data architecture initiatives and provide guidance and mentorship to junior data team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data management.
  • Strong proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, Hadoop) and data warehousing solutions.
  • Experience with cloud databases and data processing frameworks (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
  • Solid understanding of data governance, quality, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex data challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications in data architecture or data management are a plus.
