Optimiza is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Public Service Officer to join our dynamic team. In this key position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality public services and policies that meet the needs of our communities. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to design, implement, and oversee public service initiatives that promote efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary liaison between the organization and government agencies, community organizations, and the public.
  • Lead the development and implementation of public service policies, programs, and projects that enhance community engagement and service delivery.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy development and assess the impact of public service initiatives.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of public service programs through performance metrics and reporting, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Facilitate public consultations and stakeholder engagement activities to gather community input and feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and trends in public service delivery, applying innovative solutions to enhance service quality.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Social Work, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in public service management, policy development, or a related area.
  • In-depth understanding of public service principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to assess complex issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
  • Experience with community engagement and public consultation processes.
  • Passion for public service and improving the quality of life for communities.
