Optimiza is on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Communication & Network Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing our communication strategies and maintaining robust network systems that facilitate smooth organizational operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective communication plans that align with organizational goals and enhance internal and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage and optimize network operations, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with teams to assess communication needs and identify opportunities for improvement in information sharing and network efficiency.
  • Assist in the design and maintenance of communication channels, including social media, newsletters, and internal communication tools.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure minimal disruption to services.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and network performance, providing insights and recommendations for enhancement.
  • Prepare reports on communication activities and network status for management review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a communications role with a strong focus on network management.
  • Solid understanding of communication strategies and principles, as well as networking concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with network management tools and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with social media tools and platforms to promote effective communication.
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for learning and applying new technologies.
