JOB TITLE: Business Analyst

RESPONSIBLE TO: Senior Supplier Onboarding IT Manager

MAIN LOCATION: Jordan

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the potential impact of proposed changes on business operations, systems, and processes.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for development and implementation.
  • Own the end-to-end analysis process for assigned projects, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with business goals.
  • Determine the impacts for all business units of the changes proposed and feedback accordingly.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of APG systems and technologies to support effective analysis and issue resolution.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement for assigned projects, ensuring timely and transparent communication.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, including business cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Define the "success" of a change with KPIs and monitor the result against these, post go live.
  • Act as a liaison between the business and project teams to ensure that implementation aligns with agreed requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Conduct impact analysis and risk assessments to support decision-making.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business expectations.
  • Ensure all relevant artefacts are stored and accessible for audit, training, and knowledge transfer purposes.
  • Suggest enhancements to existing processes and systems based on analysis findings.
  • Analyse current system flows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong educational background in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Analyst or similar role within IT or technology-driven environments.
  • Proven ability to elicit and document requirements from diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of software development processes and web technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in tools such as DevOps, Jira, PostMan, SOAP UI, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Prince2, Agile, PMP) and ability to articulate their differences.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to take on additional duties as assigned by Senior Management.
  • Participation in performance appraisal and objective-setting processes.
  • Adherence to APG policies including Health and Safety, Employment, Quality, and Environmental standards.
