Job Summary: 

As our UX/UI Lead (Product Design Lead), you'll drive the design vision for Syarah's e-commerce platform, creating intuitive and engaging user experiences for our website and mobile app serving KSA customers. Based onsite in Amman, you'll lead design projects and collaborate with our Amman-based technical team to enhance the car buying and selling journey, focusing on innovation without managing people.

We're looking for a talented UX/UI Lead to shape the design direction of Syarah's website and mobile app, tailored for the KSA market. In this fully onsite position in Amman, you'll focus on crafting intuitive, engaging user experiences, collaborating closely with our Amman-based technical team. This role is about leading design innovation, not managing people, allowing you to focus on creating exceptional user interfaces and experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end design process for Syarah's e-commerce platform, from user research to high-fidelity prototypes, tailored for KSA users.
  • Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure designs meet customer needs and business goals in the KSA market.
  • Create visually appealing, user-centered interfaces that enhance the car buying and selling experience.
  • Collaborate with Amman-based developers and product managers to ensure design feasibility and seamless implementation.
  • Maintain and evolve Syarah's design system to ensure consistency across web and mobile platforms.
  • Stay updated on UX/UI trends and best practices, applying insights to elevate Syarah's platform
  • E-commerce focus: Experience designing for e-commerce with a strong eye on conversion and user behavior.
  • Agile collaboration: Used to working in agile squads with PMs and developers to deliver iterative improvements.
  • Data-driven mindset: Comfortable using analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Hotjar) to guide and validate design decisions.
  • Customer-centric UX: Strong believer in user-first design, with hands-on experience in research, usability testing, and turning insights into intuitive experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing e-commerce or consumer-facing projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and creating wireframes/prototypes.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design for web and mobile.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with the automotive or e-commerce industry, especially in KSA, is a plus.
