1. Treasury System Implementation & Project Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the new Treasury Management System from IT perspective.
  • Act as IT primary liaison between Treasury users, IT teams, and system vendors.
  • Coordinate workshops, requirement gathering, and solution design activities.
  • Review system architecture, technical specifications, data models, and workflow configurations.
  • Drive SIT/UAT test cycles, defect management, and production cutover planning.
  • Ensure project adherence to governance, security, and CBJ requirements.

2. Platform Ownership & Technical Management

  • Own the Treasury platform's technical roadmap, configuration, and lifecycle management.
  • Oversee integrations with Core Banking, Market Data providers, Finance/GL, Risk/ALM, and reporting systems.
  • Manage system performance, stability, high availability, and incident response.
  • Ensure accuracy of market data, pricing curves, limit checks, and valuation processes.

3. Operational Readiness & Support

  • Establish operational procedures, monitoring routines, and incident management frameworks.
  • Plan and execute platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Maintain all system documentation, business continuity controls, and audit evidence.
  • Provide L1/L2 support for Treasury Front, Middle, and Back Office teams.

4. Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal audit standards, and data governance policies.
  • Maintain segregation-of-duties controls across front, middle, and back-office roles.
  • Support Risk and Finance in ensuring correct valuations, exposures, and accounting flows.

5. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Supervise and mentor Treasury IT specialists.
  • Build internal technical expertise to reduce vendor dependency.
  • Collaborate closely with Treasury Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Finance leadership teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8–10+ years of experience in banking IT, with significant exposure to Treasury or Markets systems.
  • Strong understanding of Treasury products: FX, Money Market, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Repos, etc.
  • Experience with system implementation projects, integrations, APIs, middleware, and data flows.
  • Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and analyzing logs/technical issues.
  • Strong communication, vendor management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
