Jordan Arab Bank Full time 20,000 - 40,000 per year

Accountable for:

4   Participate in developing corporate credit  risk management policies/standards.

4   Maintaining and testing corporate credit risk measurement methodologies and Credit Risk rating models .

4   Reporting the Bank's corporate credit risk exposure against set internal parameters (Limits, RAROC) & performing scenarios & stress-testing.

4   Participate in the efforts of implementing Basel II requirements for corporate credit risk and ensuring adherence to all requirements.

4   Participate in continuous review & improvement of  corporate credit risk management in line with the Bank's overall strategy/risk appetite and Basel II and its related regulatory requirements.

4   Participate in periodic review corporate credit risk management  policies and standards and key Credit Risk parameters in coordination with credit function.

4   Participate in periodic portfolio reviews & stress-testing & measure impact of corporate Credit exposure on the Bank/ Group's capital.

4   Participate in reviewing the credit rating methodology proposed by Credit function

4   Participate in reviewing tools to identify, measure and monitor corporate credit risk management.

4   Participate in testing the credit model & methodology on annual basis, and recommend changes to risk parameters & methodology

4   Prepare periodic portfolio/sub-portfolio reviews and stress testing and measure impact of credit exposure on the Bank/Group's capital against originally set/approved guidelines.

4   Participate in reviewing the Bank's aggregate corporate credit risk limits to reflect the Bank's risk appetite/strategy in accordance with Credit and relevant business functions  

4   Participate in reviewing new corporate credit products and changes to existing ones as part of the New Product Development process

4   Participate in the efforts of implementing Basel II requirements related to corporate credit.

4   Participate in corporate credit risk management and Basel II awareness across the Bank .

Education:

4   Undergraduate degree in Mathematics/ Engineering/ Finance/Risk Management or Banking from a recognized University.

4   PRM/FRM & recognized professional Credit Risk management certification preferred.

Experience\: Minimum  5 years experience in Corporate Banking or Credit with an international bank with exposure to emerging markets, of which 2years in a Risk Management or Credit Senior position role.

Competencies:

4   Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)

4   Advanced mathematical, analytical, modeling and PC skills.

4   Ability to effectively interact with senior management.

4   Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

4   Solid knowledge of lending practices, tools, & Basel II requirements
