Job Summary:

We seek a strategic-minded Business Development Manager with a proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within a shared services or outsourcing firm. The role involves owning the business development cycle from lead generation to deal closure, working closely with our leadership team to align sales strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a strategic business development plan focused on global growth, leveraging innovative sales tactics and best practices.
  • Generate leads through Upwork, LinkedIn, email outreach, and referrals, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize results.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects and opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Conduct virtual meetings with clients to understand needs and pitch tailored solutions, showcasing expertise and building trust.
  • Develop proposals, close deals, and manage contracts, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Strengthen relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business, fostering long-term partnerships and loyalty.
  • Track sales metrics and contribute to business growth initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive performance improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and service delivery teams to align business development efforts with brand positioning, driving cohesive messaging and alignment.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B business development, preferably in outsourcing shared services environments.
  • Strong understanding of HR services and the consulting business model, with a demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach to complex sales situations.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting, with a keen eye for detail and analytical skills.
