  • Develop and maintain expertise in VMware virtualization, high availability, containerization, and backup services.

  • Apply fundamental knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, and VPN.
  • Understand concepts of NFS, CIFS, FTP, SFTP, TELNET, and SSH.
  • Automate processes and write scripts in administrative languages like Perl, Shell, and Ansible.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
  • Deploy new clients to the existing infrastructure, ensuring consistent availability to business customers.
  • Perform proactive and preventive system upgrades to avoid potential failures.
  • Be available on call 24/7/365.
  • Stay current with CI/CD processes and DevOps tools like Dockers, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Ansible to support container-based applications and services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for operational procedures, troubleshooting aids, and technical analyses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS.
  • At least 3 years of continuous professional technical experience in IT technology with qualified certifications and training in the mentioned technical areas.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies and principles.
  • Experience with OS management, particularly MS Windows and VMware.
  • Shell Scripting experience is essential.
  • Basic understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies.
  • Knowledge of large corporate applications with integrated end-to-end infrastructure IT services covering data center sites, backup/recovery, monitoring, and scheduling system tools.
  • Good knowledge and experience in project management.
