Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Operations Administrator

Orange Jordan is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Operations Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating Systems Administration: You will be responsible for administering and maintaining our Microsoft Windows, Redhat, Centos, Ubuntu, and Solaris environments.
  • VMware Virtualization: You will have excellent knowledge of VMware virtualization, High Availability, Containerization, and backup services.
  • Networking and Hardware: You will have good knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, and VPN) and hardware (mainly HP and DELL).
  • Automation and Scripting: You will be able to automate processes and write scripts in administrative languages (Perl, Shell, Ansible, etc.).
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: You will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting issues and problems on production environments.
  • Deployment and Upgrades: You will deploy new clients to the existing infrastructure and ensure that all services are consistently available to business customers.
  • Documentation and Support: You will develop and maintain documentation required for operational procedures, troubleshooting aids, and technical analyses for products, features, and capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of VMware virtualization, High Availability, Containerization, and backup services.
  • Good knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, and VPN) and hardware (mainly HP and DELL).
  • Ability to automate processes and write scripts in administrative languages (Perl, Shell, Ansible, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD process and DevOps tools such as Dockers, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
