Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Operations Administrator

Orange Jordan is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Operations Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating Systems Administration: You will be responsible for administering and maintaining our Microsoft Windows, Redhat, Centos, Ubuntu, and Solaris environments.
  • VMware Virtualization: You will have excellent knowledge of VMware virtualization, High Availability, Containerization, and backup services.
  • Networking Principles: You will have a good understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, and VPN.
  • HW and Networking: You will have fundamental knowledge of hardware, mainly HP and DELL, and networking concepts, including NFS, CIFS, FTP, SFTP, TELNET, SSH.
  • Automation and Scripting: You will have the ability to automate processes and write scripts in administrative languages, such as Perl, Shell, and Ansible.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: You will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting issues and problems on production environments.
  • Deployment and Upgrades: You will be responsible for deploying new clients to the existing infrastructure and ensuring that all services are consistently available to business customers.
  • Proactive Maintenance: You will be responsible for completing proactive and preventive system upgrades on a timely basis to avoid potential failures.
  • On-Call Support: You will be willing to provide on-call support 24/7/365.
  • CI/CD and DevOps: You will have good knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Ansible, to support container-based applications and services.
  • Documentation: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining documentation required for operational procedures, troubleshooting aids, and technical analyses for products, features, and capabilities.
